Saint Joseph Latin Parish - Haifa
The use of the internet, as source of information, is growing day by day. The Church urges us to use the modern means of communication to share the Good News and so the internet provides us with an admirable means of interacting with parishioners and anyone who wishes to know about Christ and his Church.
Saint Joseph Church is the parish and home of the Latin Rite Catholic Church in Haifa, a major port city in the north-west of the Holy Land. It forms part of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem. The present Patriarch is His Beatitude Mgr. Michel Sabbah.
As a community of believers, the parish and Carmel School is run by the Carmelite Order of Friars, which came into existence in the 12th century on the slopes of Mount Carmel, from which the Order takes its name.
This internet site is meant to be a bridge between the parish and people wanting to know about the History of the Parish, its institutions, Carmel School, programs and activities, schedules and newsletter.

And htere is a third ocming - the Lord's coming into our hearts into our lives, by divine grace. If we are trying to live bye the teacings of Christ and of the Church, then this Advent will be a liturgically rich, profoundly religious experience leading us to the Lord's coming in grace at this Chirstmas...(press here to continue...)
